Mr. Amit Goradia - Chairman
Mr Amit Goradia has a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the reputed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai. He started his career as a Management Trainee with Pioneer Equipment Co. Pvt Ltd in 1973. In 1980, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the said Company and from 1981 to 1990, he headed the Company as its Managing Director. In 1993, he founded the Jewel Group of Companies, which was the sole supplier of Toothbrushes to Hindustan Lever Ltd. He is also a Working Director in Kuenkel Wagner (India) Pvt Ltd, a joint venture with Kuenkel Wagner Prozesstechnologie GmbH, Germany, who are world famous manufacturers of specialized Foundry Equipments and Turnkey Plants.
Mrs. Geeta Goradia - Managing Director
Mrs Geeta Goradia has a Masters in Industrial Economics. She started her career as a Lecturer of the Commerce Faculty of the renowned Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She took over the reins of Dye Azo Pvt Ltd a sick unit in 1986. Over a period she was singularly responsible for the turn-around of the unit making it one of the leading Toothbrush manufacturers for Colgate Palmolive in India. Since 1993, she joined the Jewel Group of Companies as its Chief Executive Officer and thereafter its Managing Director handling the production and operational responsibilities at the Group’s Works units.
Dr. Timm Preusser - Director
Dr Timm Preusser has a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. He has around 17 years of experience as Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of various international groups. He is also a member of Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of several companies based in Europe. He has extensive experience in Sales, Research & Development, manufacturing for Household articles, technical filaments and oral care products. He specializes in restructuring, turnarounds, corporate development, strategy development and realizations.
Mr. Jal Patel - Director
Mr Jal Patel is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary by qualification. He is a highly respected Industrialist and has in year 2000 retired as the Chairman of FAG Bearings India Ltd, a company which he had joined as Chief Accountant and thereon went on to be its Managing Director, Vice Chairman and then Chairman. He is an Independent Director in several reputed public companies, including Gujarat Gas Company Ltd, ABC Bearings Ltd, Dinesh Mills Ltd.
Mr. Helmut Schlieper - Director
Mr Helmut Schlieper is the Chief Executive Officer and President of Synpart GmbH, a German Oral Care Leader and leading supplier of Oral Care Products to Private Labels in Europe. Synpart GmbH is now owned Ranir LLC a leading Oral Care Company in USA. Mr Schlieper is a Management Graduate and also holds a Diploma in Industrial Management. He was the Marketing and Sales Director (Worldwide) of M+C Schiffer GmbH, Germany and thereafter headed the Oral Care Division of the Coronet Group, Germany, a German leader in household products and oral care.
Mr. Aniruddh Kamdar - Director
Mr Aniruddh Kamdar is a Metallurgical Engineer with more than 25 years experience in marketing and selling of a range of industrial and consumer goods. He has during his career been involved in selling special purpose machinery and machine tools, sports goods, spectacle frames and other consumer goods. He is presently the Managing Director of Kuenkel Wagner (India) Pvt Ltd. He also holds Directorships in a number of other Companies involved in a variety of activities.
Mr. Suhrud Goradia – CEO
Mr Suhrud Goradia is a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Manchester of Science and Technology (UMIST). After work experience in the field of Polymers, he did his MBA from Cambridge University, UK. He joined Jewel in 2004 and is now involved in all management activities of the company. He developed the in-house Jewel Brands EzyBe and Syncare and involved in development of all new projects at Jewel. |
